6 things I learnt about my kids during our Austria trip
1. They are hungry some times. Other times they get bored. When they get bored, they ‘think’ they are hungry. Basically, they want to eat, all the time!
2. When they come back to the hotel from a day trip to the wilderness, they can watch any TV show, even if German is the only choice available.
3. Making them wait in the line for a salt mine tour, for more than 20 mins, is equivalent to making them work in the salt mine for 20 years – without pay! Basically, it’s torture!
4. Everything is “That is soo borring, do we have to do it?” until they do it, after which it’s “Can we please please please do it again?”
5. In their world it is pretty simple. 10 euros = 10 aed = 10 rupees. So “It’s only for 10, mom!”, is a valid argument.
6. If the boy orders a Hindu meal in flight (though you warned him not too), hoping he would get pork sausages, but gets a bland ball of spinach instead, it’s your fault!
